Planning has been submitted to transform the former garden nursery site at Pyrles Lane, Loughton, into 48 new homes and apartments.
The site, which has remained empty and disused for several years, will provide 30 apartments and 18 houses which are designed to blend seamlessly with the existing surroundings. The proposed homes will benefit from a fabric-first approach with a low carbon footprint and energy efficient heating systems reducing the impact of energy costs.
The development will be landscaped with natural play and seating for all to enjoy, along with enhanced biodiversity through new tree planting, bird, and bat boxes. It will also retain the natural linkages in and around the site that reflects its relationship with Hillyfields Open Space.
We provided detailed structural overview, revised layout proposals and value engineering advice to assist with the Planning Application.
