This exceptional bespoke project in Wharram-le-Street, North Yorkshire, consists of the demolition of the existing 1886 former vicarage, outbuildings and annexe.
A new Georgian-styled two-storey house will be built with contemporary wing to the rear and a linked single-storey garage. A replacement annexe will also be rebuilt, designed to provide fully accessible accommodation, and associated landscaping works.
Located within a designated Area of High Landscape Value (AHLV), careful consideration has been given to the placement of the proposed dwelling to ensure the existing amenity of neighbouring properties and the adjacent heritage asset of the Grade I Listed Church of St. Mary were not compromised.
